A proposal to fight hunger in Africa today
A new age of optimism has dawned for Africa’s development and the productivity of its agriculture, after decades of declining per capita food production. Even under the impact of the world economic crisis, the continent’s economic outlook has improved considerably over the past decade, with GDP rising at an average rate of 5-6% per annum and expectations of continued high growth rates.
